　　书豪开场助帕森斯射入三分球，并中投砍分，火箭打出9-3开局。但火箭篮板严重吃亏，单节是2-13，首节后7次远投也是全失；伊巴卡、杜兰特利用高度优势接连打三分，雷霆完成13-0攻势建立优势。杜兰特单节砍下17分，雷霆不断拉开比分首节结束39-19领先到20分。
　　次节前段杜兰特三分球又引出雷霆9-3攻势，雷霆已48-22领先。布鲁克斯出场后连有砍分，火箭经历三分球11投连失后终由加西亚连入远投，次节后段帕森斯也助力三分球，但半场火箭仍是49-66落后。
　　比弗利在第三节开场即领到第4次犯规，但哈登射入远投后，比弗利连续冲篮入球，火箭追至62-75。塞弗罗萨射入三分球无法阻止火箭追击之势，加西亚与哈登连入远投助火箭在三节结束追至76-80。杜兰特此节5投连失后方以灌篮得到仅有2分。
　　末节5分半钟，帕森斯远投追分为91平，哈登此后2罚全失而杜兰特2罚全中；末节3分半钟德尔菲诺远投助火箭94-93超出。伊巴卡此后连入两球，而火箭连续失误后由哈登罚球涨分，末节45秒加西亚射入三分球，火箭99-97领先。
　　但杜兰特回敬三分球雷霆再度超出，哈登此后遭费舍尔抢断，费舍尔2罚全中雷霆102-99领先。火箭只剩12.5秒，哈登冲篮入球后火箭采取犯规战术，杰克逊为雷霆2罚全中，随着德尔菲诺远投不中，火箭最终101-104落败。
