　　邓肯与莫蒂埃尤纳斯开局连续砍分对峙，双方战至10平。首节中段火箭出现4分钟得分荒，马刺15-10建立优势。前4投全失的哈登终命中三分球，比弗利连拿5分后火箭首节结束22-20超出。
　　进入次节比弗利又射入远投，火箭27-20领先。迪奥此后连入远投率马刺追上。次节中段书豪回场后连有失误，火箭再度出现4分钟得分荒，马刺又积累出10-0攻势，41-32将比分拉开。哈登再以远投带动火箭追击，半场结束火箭43-46落后。
　　第三节前段哈登连续冲篮率火箭50-49超出。
　　涨分对峙中，帕克同样连续冲篮，而书豪也制造帕克犯规罚球涨分。在哈登单节12分火力带动下火箭逐步建立优势，帕森斯远投后火箭74-67结束第三节。
　　末节前段吉诺比利与杰克逊相继为马刺射入远投，火箭多点得分中史密斯隔着斯普利特表演重扣，火箭一度领先8分；但末节后段火箭再陷近4分钟得分荒，而帕克发力连砍12分，马刺于末节1分半钟93-89超出。比弗利封盖格林后帕森斯命中远投，哈登则远投造犯规3罚2中；在火箭落后1分的情况下，哈登于最后4.5秒跳投入球，火箭96-95反超。邓肯与吉诺比利此后连投不中，火箭最终1分险胜。
　　花絮：帕克犯规气坏哈登
　　次节裁判一次判罚引起了火箭将帅的不满——马刺二打一快攻中德科洛抛传试图策动空接，但在书豪退防压制下，伦纳德位置不佳也未完全跳起导致空接失败，裁判判定书豪犯规。书豪其实是背对着伦纳德，犯规动作并不明显，球迷一片嘘声时麦帅也果断向裁判抗议。
　　第三节类似情况再现，双方角色转换——书豪推进中抛传马刺篮筐附近，空位处的哈登跳在半空摆出了舒展的接力挑篮姿态，而追防来的帕克撞到了哈登的下盘，哈登瞬间失去重心摔坐在地。帕克这犯规不仅明显还透着危险，哈登气的直用双手拍打地面。
